This Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education released the date sheet for the first term of Class exams. Students can now check the date sheet for term 1 Class 10 at CBSE's official website. The board has provided the date sheet for all major subjects. The schools will provide the date sheet for minor subjects separately. The exams for minor subjects will begin on November 17th, 2021.
The exams for CBSE Class 10 major subjects will begin on 20th November, Tuesday, with social science and are scheduled to end with English Language and Literature on 11th December, 2021. Science exam will be held on December 2, Thursday and exams for Maths standard and maths basic have been scheduled for Saturday, 4th December 4.
Earlier this year the CBSE had announced about holding exams in two terms for Classes 10th and 12th for the session of 2021-22.
The 1st term will be conducted within November to December 2021 and each paper will contain objective type questions. Students will have 90 mins to complete The paper. However, the reading time for question papers has been increased to 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes as provided earlier.
The exam for 2nd term is scheduled for March-April the next year and the papers will be either of subjective or objective type, depending on the nation's pandemic situation. All exams are instructed to be conducted offline.
All exams will begin at 11.30 am instead of 10.30 am due to the winter season.
